I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.

Lord, I will give you honor. You brought me out of deep trouble. You didn’t give my enemies the joy of seeing me die.

I will extol you, O Lord, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me.

I will exalt you, Lord, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me.

Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works[ are] truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!

That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man[ is there] that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
