Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Certainly in a flood of great waters, they will not reach him.

因此敬虔之士、宜乘可尋之際禱爾、大水氾濫、必不相及兮、

因此敬虔之士、於見納之時、禱告於爾、即使洪水泛濫、災不及身、

因此凡虔誠人、當在可蒙主恩之時、祈求主、洪水氾濫、必不臨及其身、

傳語虔信。及時祈主。洪水不犯。主實砥柱。

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

Let everyone who is faithful pray to you while they can still look to you. When troubles come like a flood, they certainly won’t reach those who are faithful.

Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him.

Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to you immediately. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

for He says,“ At a favorable time I listened to you, And on a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is“ a favorable time,” behold, now is“ a day of salvation”—

My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice.Exalt the Lord with me, And let’s exalt His name together.I sought the Lord and He answered me, And rescued me from all my fears.They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed.

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have passed over me.

But know that the Lord has set apart the godly person for Himself; The Lord hears when I call to Him.

You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.”

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the Lord.

I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us.For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

This is what the Lord says:“ At a favorable time I answered You, And on a day of salvation I helped You; And I will watch over You and make You a covenant of the people, To restore the land, to give as inheritances the deserted hereditary lands;

instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age,

“ Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell— and its collapse was great.”

Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth.The water prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.And the water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens were covered.The water prevailed fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered.So all creatures that moved on the earth perished: birds, livestock, animals, and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind;of all that was on the dry land, all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.

But as for me, my prayer is to You, Lord, at an acceptable time; God, in the greatness of Your mercy, Answer me with Your saving truth.Rescue me from the mud and do not let me sink; May I be rescued from those who hate me, and from the depths of water.May the flood of water not overflow me Nor the deep swallow me up, Nor the pit close its mouth on me.

Then the waters would have flooded over us, The stream would have swept over our souls;Then the raging waters would have swept over our souls.”

Save me, God, For the waters have threatened my life.I have sunk in deep mud, and there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and a flood overflows me.

who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Reach out with Your hand from on high; Rescue me and save me from great waters, From the hand of foreigners

Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently but will not find me,

saying,“ If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.For the days will come upon you when your enemies will put up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side,and they will level you to the ground, and throw down your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

And the serpent hurled water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon had hurled out of his mouth.

Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And sustain me with a willing spirit.Then I will teach wrongdoers Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You.
