But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,

But the Lord looks with favor on those who respect him. He watches over those who put their hope in his faithful love.

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,

But look, the LORD keeps his eye on those who fear him— those who depend on his faithful love

Look, the LORD takes notice of his loyal followers, those who wait for him to demonstrate his faithfulness

He never takes his eyes off the innocent, but he sets them on thrones with kings and exalts them forever.

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.”

No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!

But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love.

But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.

So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned.But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who are declared righteous without working for it:“ Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight.Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.”
