The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Cry out,“ Save us, O God of our salvation! Gather and rescue us from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.”

How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed.For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me.He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him.

In that day the people will proclaim,“ This is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us! This is the Lord, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!”
