Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.

众弟子啊，你们当来听我的话！我要将敬畏耶和华的道教训你们。

孩子们哪，来听我！我要将敬畏耶和华的道教导你们。

孩子们！你们要来听我；我要教导你们敬畏耶和华。

来吧，儿女们，听从我！我要教导你们敬畏耶和华。

眾弟子啊，你們當來聽我的話！我要將敬畏耶和華的道教訓你們。

孩子們哪，來聽我！我要將敬畏耶和華的道教導你們。

孩子們！你們要來聽我；我要教導你們敬畏耶和華。

眾弟子啊，來，來聽我；我要把敬畏永恆主的道理教訓你們。

來吧，兒女們，聽從我！我要教導你們敬畏耶和華。

小子歟、來聽之、我以寅畏耶和華之道訓爾兮、

爾小子聽之、我將以畏耶和華之道示爾兮。

諸弟子皆來聽我之言、我將敬畏主之道訓誨爾曹、

壯獅有時飢。忠徒莫不適。

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

My children, come. Listen to me. I will teach you to have respect for the Lord.

Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the Lord.

Come children! Listen to me! I will teach you what it means to fear the LORD.

The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!

The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.

My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures:then you will understand the fear of Yahweh, and find the knowledge of God.For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints.Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.

Listen, sons, to a father’s instruction. Pay attention and know understanding;

Whom will he teach knowledge? To whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts?

I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.

Come and hear, all you who fear God. I will declare what he has done for my soul.

But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them,“ Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”He took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

Now therefore, sons, listen to me. Pay attention to the words of my mouth.

From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them,and said,“ Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

“ Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.

Rejoice, young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw near, when you will say,“ I have no pleasure in them;”

Little children, I will be with you a little while longer. You will seek me, and as I said to the Jews,‘ Where I am going, you can’t come,’ so now I tell you.
