In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.

In the hand of the Lord is a cup. It is full of wine mixed with spices. It is the wine of his anger. He pours it out. All the evil people on earth drink it down to the very last drop.

For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.

For the Lord holds a cup in his hand that is full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours out the wine in judgment, and all the wicked must drink it, draining it to the dregs.

願他親眼看到自己的敗亡；願他親自吸飲全能者的烈怒。

他必向惡人下炭火跟硫磺雨；必有焚燒的風做他們杯中的分。

永恆主以色列的上帝對我這麼說：『你把這杯烈怒的酒從我手中接過去，叫我所差遣你到的列國的人喝。

另有一位第三位天使跟着他們，大聲地說：『人若拜獸和獸的像，受印記在額上或手上，就必須喝上帝震怒的酒，那在他義怒杯中調好了而不參雜的。那人必須在聖天使們面前和羔羊面前、在火跟硫磺之中受苦痛。

那大城裂為三分；列國的城都傾覆了。大巴比倫在上帝面前被記得，就有上帝震怒報應之杯酒給她喝。

就是那流流連連於酒，常去試試調和之酒的人呢！

你使你的人民遇到艱難；你叫我們喝那令人東倒西歪的酒。

『你要對他們說：「萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：你們要喝到醉，到嘓嘓吐，以致倒下去，不能再起來，是因為刀劍的緣故，就是我所打發到你們中間去的。」『他們若不肯把這杯從你手中接過去喝，你就要對他們說：「萬軍之永恆主這麼說：你們一定要喝！

有禍啊，那些勇於喝酒，豪於調和濃酒的人！

於是我從永恆主手中接了這杯，給永恆主所差遣我到的列國的人喝：

奮發，奮發哦！耶路撒冷啊，站起來哦！你這從永恆主手中喝了他烈怒之杯，喝了那使人東倒西歪的杯爵，以至於喝盡的！

你的主永恆主、你的上帝、為他人民辯訴的、這麼說：『看哪，我已把那使人東倒西歪的杯、我烈怒的杯爵、從你手中接過來了；你必不再喝它；

因此他們飽喫了食物，也喝了充盛的水。
