With which Your enemies have reproached, O Lord, With which they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.

耶和华啊，你的仇敌用这羞辱羞辱了你的仆人，羞辱了你受膏者的脚踪。

耶和華歟、爾敵所加之辱、即辱爾受膏者之行蹤兮、○

耶和華兮、爾曾沐我以膏、敵人謗讟予、與謗讟爾無異兮、

記念萬民毀謗主、毀謗主所立受膏者之蹤跡、

爾僕蒙大辱。吾主寧不矜。

the taunts with which your enemies, Lord, have mocked, with which they have mocked every step of your anointed one.

Lord, your enemies have said mean things. They have laughed at everything your anointed king has done.

with which your enemies mock, O Lord, with which they mock the footsteps of your anointed.

Your enemies have mocked me, O Lord; they mock your anointed king wherever he goes.

how your enemies have ridiculed, LORD, how they have ridiculed every step of your anointed.

With which Your enemies have taunted, Lord, With which they have taunted the footsteps of Your anointed.

Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Jehovah, Wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

Your enemies, O LORD, hurl insults; they insult your chosen king as they dog his footsteps.

With which your enemies have mocked, Yahweh, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one.

He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters.Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment.

and said,“ This fellow said,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.’”

You bloodthirsty man, you rogue!The Lord has brought upon you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned; and the Lord has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son. So now you are caught in your own evil, because you are a bloodthirsty man!”

All day they twist my words; All their thoughts are against me for evil.They gather together, They hide, they mark my steps, When they lie in wait for my life.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.

For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated;

Then the Jews answered and said to Him,“ Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure;being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

O God, how long will the adversary reproach? Will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
