Then he said to me,“ Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

Hear Him!”And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid.But Jesus came and touched them and said,“ Arise, and do not be afraid.”

And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.But he said to them,“ Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

When he had spoken such words to me, I turned my face toward the ground and became speechless.

But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit.And He said to them,“ Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”

saying,“ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and,“ What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said,“ Lord, who is the one who betrays You?”

And Moses said to the people,“ Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

And Moses said to the people,“ Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”

When I heard, my body trembled; My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered my bones; And I trembled in myself, That I might rest in the day of trouble. When he comes up to the people, He will invade them with his troops.
