“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

“ Here is what I command you to write to the church in Ephesus. Here are the words of Jesus, who holds the seven stars in his right hand. He also walks among the seven golden lampstands. He says,

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:‘ The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands.

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Ephesus. This is the message from the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lampstands:

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:

他並且執有七顆星在右手中；有一把雙刃的利劍從他口中吐出；他的臉面像日頭滿有熱力地發光。

你所看見那在我右手中的七顆星和七個金燈臺的象徵奧祕是：那七顆星是七個教會的使者；那七個燈臺是七個教會。

說着話說：『你所看見的要寫在書上，寄給以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉、那七個教會。』我轉過身來，要看看那同我說話的聲音是甚麼回事；我一轉身，就看見七個金燈臺；燈臺中間有一位彷彿是人子，穿着垂到腳上的長衣，胸間束着金帶。

『你要寫信給在撒狄教會的使者說：『「那擁有着上帝之七靈和七星的這麼說：我知道你的行為：你名雖是活着，其實乃是死的。

『你要寫信給在別迦摩教會的使者說：『「那執有雙刃利劍的這麼說：

『你要寫信給在非拉鐵非的教會的使者說：『「那聖而真的、那執有大衛的鑰匙、開了就沒有人能關、關了就沒有人能開的、這麼說：

『你要寫信給在推雅推喇的教會的使者說：『上帝的兒子、眼睛像火燄、腳彷彿明亮之銅的這麼說：

『你要寫信給在老底嘉的教會的使者說：『「那『真誠可靠』的、那忠信而真實的捨生作證者、上帝造化之原本的、這麼說：

『你要寫信給在士每拿教會的使者說：『「那首先的、末後的、曾經死又活過來的、這麼說：

因為無論哪裏、兩個或三個人奉我的名聚集，在那裏、我就在他們中間。』

教訓他們遵守我所吩咐你們的一切事；看吧，一切日子、我都和你們同在，直到今世的完結。』

第三位天使吹了號筒；就有彷彿火把燒着的大星從天上墜下來，墜在江河的三分之一和眾水之泉源上。這星名叫苦堇。眾水的三分之一變了苦堇。因水變苦，就有許多人由於這些水而死。第四位天使吹了號筒；日頭的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星晨的三分之一、就被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一都變了黑，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。

你曾在伊甸上帝園中，有各樣寶石做你的服飾：就是肉紅玉髓、黃玉、金鋼石、黃璧璽、水蒼玉、碧玉、藍寶石、紅玉、綠寶石；並且你的「手鼓」和你那裏的寶石座的巧工都是金的，是在你被創造的日子就整備了的。我把你安置跟一個護衛者被膏的基路伯在一起；你就在上帝的聖山上；在發光如火的寶石中間往來。

在天上有個大迹象現出來了。有一個婦人身披日頭，腳踏月亮，頭戴十二顆星的華冠；

那個人是點𤏲而發亮的燈，你們情願暫時以他的光為歡樂。
