I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.

‘ I know what you are doing. I know your love and your faith. I know how well you have served. I know you don’t give up easily. In fact, you are doing more now than you did at first.

“‘ I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.

“ I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things.

I know your works— your love, faithfulness, service, and endurance. I know that your last works are greater than the first.

‘ I know your deeds, and your love and faith, and service and perseverance, and that your deeds of late are greater than at first.

“ I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.

I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience, and that thy last works are more than the first.

I know your works— your love, faithfulness, service, and endurance. Your last works are greater than the first.

‘ I know your deeds: your love, faith, service, and steadfast endurance. In fact, your more recent deeds are greater than your earlier ones.

“ I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and[ of] a good conscience, and[ of] faith unfeigned:

I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.Nevertheless I have[ somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every[ branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

But grow in grace, and[ in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him[ be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.

But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also[ to see] you:

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

And above all these things[ put on] charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become[ as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.And though I have[ the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.And though I bestow all my goods to feed[ the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.Charity suffereth long,[ and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.Charity never faileth: but whether[ there be] prophecies, they shall fail; whether[ there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether[ there be] knowledge, it shall vanish away.

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest,[ even] where Satan’s seat[ is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas[ was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But the path of the just[ is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty,( but thou art rich) and[ I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but[ are] the synagogue of Satan.
