But I have this against you: You have abandoned the love you had at first.

但我有一件要責備你的，就是你已經撇棄了你先前的愛心。

然而，我有事要責備你，就是你放棄了你起初的愛；

然我有所責爾者、以爾初時之愛已棄之矣、

然爾猶有疵可摘、爾初愛我、今則漠然、

然猶有可責爾者、因爾始初之愛淡漠矣、

第吾有不滿於爾者、以爾已無初愛之忱也。

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.

‘ But here is something I hold against you. You have turned away from the love you had at first.

But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.

“ But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!

But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

But I have this against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love.

But I have this against you: You have abandoned the love you had at first.

Nevertheless I have[ somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

But I have this against you: You have departed from your first love!

But I have this against you, that you left your first love.

Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold.But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

“ Go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the LORD says: I remember the loyalty of your youth, your love as a bride— how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.Israel was holy to the LORD, the firstfruits of his harvest. All who ate of it found themselves guilty; disaster came on them.” This is the LORD’s declaration.Hear the word of the LORD, house of Jacob and all families of the house of Israel.This is what the LORD says: What fault did your ancestors find in me that they went so far from me, followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for his name by serving the saints— and by continuing to serve them.Now we desire each of you to demonstrate the same diligence for the full assurance of your hope until the end,

And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment,

About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.In fact, you are doing this toward all the brothers and sisters in the entire region of Macedonia. But we encourage you, brothers and sisters, to do this even more,

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead,I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.Therefore, let all of us who are mature think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.In any case, we should live up to whatever truth we have attained.

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, since your faith is flourishing and the love each one of you has for one another is increasing.

But I have a few things against you. You have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block in front of the Israelites: to eat meat sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.

But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat meat sacrificed to idols.
