Then I saw“ a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

“看哪！我造新天新地；从前的事不再被记念，也不再追想。你们当因我所造的永远欢喜快乐；因我造耶路撒冷为人所喜，造其中的居民为人所乐。我必因耶路撒冷欢喜，因我的百姓快乐；其中必不再听见哭泣的声音和哀号的声音。

但我们照他的应许，盼望新天新地，有义居在其中。

耶和华说：“我所要造的新天新地，怎样在我面前长存；你们的后裔和你们的名字也必照样长存。

但主的日子要像贼来到一样。那日，天必大有响声废去，有形质的都要被烈火销化，地和其上的物都要烧尽了。

我又看见一个白色的大宝座与坐在上面的；从他面前天地都逃避，再无可见之处了。

坐宝座的说：“看哪，我将一切都更新了！”又说：“你要写上；因这些话是可信的，是真实的。”

到那日，耶和华必用他刚硬有力的大刀刑罚鳄鱼，就是那快行的蛇；刑罚鳄鱼，就是那曲行的蛇，并杀海中的大鱼。

有四个大兽从海中上来，形状各有不同：

惟独恶人，好像翻腾的海，不得平静；其中的水常涌出污秽和淤泥来。

我又看见一个兽从海中上来，有十角七头，在十角上戴着十个冠冕，七头上有亵渎的名号。
