“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有上帝的七灵和七颗星的这样说：我知道你的行为，就是名义上你是活的，实际上你是死的。

“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有神的七灵和七颗星的这样说：我知道你的行为，就是名义上你是活的，实际上你是死的。

“你要写信告诉撒狄教会的天使，有上帝的七灵又有七颗星的主说，‘我知道你的行为，你名义上活着，实际上是死的。

“你要给那在萨迪斯教会的使者写信说：“那位有神的七个灵和七颗星的，这样说：我知道你的行为，你名义上是活的，其实你是死的。

「你要寫信給撒狄教會的使者，說：『那有神的七靈和七星的，說：我知道你的行為，按名你是活的，其實是死的。

「你要寫信給撒狄教會的使者，說：『那有上帝的七靈和七顆星的這樣說：我知道你的行為，就是名義上你是活的，實際上你是死的。

「你要寫信給撒狄教會的使者，說：『那有神的七靈和七顆星的這樣說：我知道你的行為，就是名義上你是活的，實際上你是死的。

「你要寫信告訴撒狄教會的天使，有上帝的七靈又有七顆星的主說，『我知道你的行為，你名義上活著，實際上是死的。

『你要寫信給在撒狄教會的使者說：『「那擁有着上帝之七靈和七星的這麼說：我知道你的行為：你名雖是活着，其實乃是死的。

「你要給那在薩迪斯教會的使者寫信說：「那位有神的七個靈和七顆星的，這樣說：我知道你的行為，你名義上是活的，其實你是死的。

當書達撒狄會之使者云、有上帝之七神、及七星者、曰、我知爾諸行、名生而實死、

爾當書達撒狄會使者、曰、主有上帝七神、執七星、言曰、吾知爾所為、名生實死、

爾當書達撒狄教會使者、曰、有天主七神、又執七星者、如是云、我知爾之作為、名為生、實則死、

爾其寓書於撒爾底教會之守護天神曰：彼具有天主之七神與七星者、有所曉諭於爾：吾知爾之行實；爾雖生實死、

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

“ Here is what I command you to write to the church in Sardis. Here are the words of Jesus, who holds the seven spirits of God. He has the seven stars in his hand. He says,‘ I know what you are doing. People think you are alive, but you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write:‘ The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.“‘ I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Sardis. This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars:“ I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive— but you are dead.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Sardis: Thus says the one who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars, says this:‘ I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, and yet you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write,‘ These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars:“ I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and thou art dead.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Sardis:“ The One who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write the following:“ This is the solemn pronouncement of the one who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars:‘ I know your deeds, that you have a reputation that you are alive, but in reality you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write:“ He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things:“ I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

寡婦若奢侈宴樂，雖然活著也是死的。

約翰寫信給在亞西亞的七個教會。願恩惠平安，從那位今在、昔在、以後要來的神，從他寶座前的七靈，

身體沒有靈魂是死的，照樣，信心沒有行為也是死的。

我知道你的行為，你的愛心、信心、服侍和忍耐，也知道你後來所作的比先前的還要多。

你們因著過犯和肉體未受割禮，原是死的，然而神赦免了我們的一切過犯，使你們與基督一同活過來，

這些人膽敢與你們同席，他們只顧餵飽（“餵飽”或譯：“牧養”）自己，是你們愛筵中的暗礁；是無雨的浮雲，隨風飄蕩；是秋天不結果子的樹，連根拔起，死而又死；

就在我們因過犯死了的時候，使我們與基督一同活過來，（你們得救是靠著恩典，）

只是因為你這個弟弟是死而復活、失而又得的，我們應該歡喜快樂。’”

因為我這兒子是死而復活、失而又得的。’他們就歡樂起來。

他的右手拿著七星，有一把兩刃的利劍從他口中吐出來；他的臉發光好像正午的烈日。

你們因著自己的過犯和罪惡，原是死的。

我知道你居住的地方，就是撒但王座所在的地方。當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們那裡，就是在撒但居住的地方被殺的那些日子，你還持守我的名，沒有否認對我的信仰。

有閃電、響聲、雷轟從寶座中發出；又有七枝火炬在寶座前點著，這就是神的七靈。

說：“你所看見的，要寫在書上，也要寄給以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推拉、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉七個教會。”

我又看見在寶座和四個活物中間，並且在眾長老中間，有羊羔站著，像是被殺過的。他有七角七眼，就是神的七靈，奉差遣到全地去的。

神所差來的那一位講神的話，因為神把聖靈無限地賜給他。

你所看見在我右手中的七星和七個金燈臺的奧祕就是這樣：七星是七個教會的使者，七燈臺是七個教會。”“你要寫信給在以弗所教會的使者，說：‘那右手拿著七星，在七個金燈臺中間行走的，這樣說：我知道你的行為、你的勞苦、你的忍耐，也知道你不能容忍惡人。你也曾經試驗那些自稱是使徒，而其實不是使徒的人，看出他們是假的。

從他的豐盛裡我們都領受了，而且恩上加恩。

我本來不認識他，但那差我來用水施洗的對我說：‘你看見聖靈降下來，停留在誰身上，誰就是用聖靈施洗的。’

說了這話，就向他們吹一口氣，說：“你們領受聖靈吧！

就是把他們心裡基督的靈所預先見證，關於基督要受苦難後來得榮耀，是在甚麼時候和怎樣的情況加以考察。

節期的最後一天，就是最隆重的那一天，耶穌站著高聲說：“人若渴了，可以到我這裡來喝！信我的人，就像聖經所說的，從他的腹中要湧流出活水的江河來。”他這話是指著信他的人要接受聖靈說的；那時聖靈還沒有降臨，因為耶穌還沒有得著榮耀。

他既然被高舉到神的右邊，從父領受了所應許的聖靈，就把他澆灌下來，這就是你們所看見所聽見的。

我知道你的患難和貧窮，但你卻是富足的。我也知道那些自稱是猶太人所說毀謗的話，其實他們不是猶太人，而是撒但的黨徒。

“我從父那裡要差來給你們的保惠師，就是從父那裡出來的真理的靈，他來到的時候，要為我作見證。你們也要作見證，因為從開始你們就是跟我在一起的。”
