「你要寫信給撒狄教會的使者，說：『那有神的七靈和七顆星的這樣說：我知道你的行為，就是名義上你是活的，實際上你是死的。

“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有神的七灵和七颗星的这样说：我知道你的行为，就是名义上你是活的，实际上你是死的。

“你要写信告诉撒狄教会的天使，有上帝的七灵又有七颗星的主说，‘我知道你的行为，你名义上活着，实际上是死的。

“你要写信给在撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有神七灵和七星的这样说：我知道你的行为，你有名声，说你是活着的，其实你是死的。

“你要给那在萨迪斯教会的使者写信说：“那位有神的七个灵和七颗星的，这样说：我知道你的行为，你名义上是活的，其实你是死的。

「你要寫信給撒狄教會的使者，說：『那有神的七靈和七星的，說：我知道你的行為，按名你是活的，其實是死的。

「你要寫信給撒狄教會的使者，說：『那有上帝的七靈和七顆星的這樣說：我知道你的行為，就是名義上你是活的，實際上你是死的。

「你要寫信告訴撒狄教會的天使，有上帝的七靈又有七顆星的主說，『我知道你的行為，你名義上活著，實際上是死的。

“你要寫信給在撒狄教會的使者，說：‘那有神七靈和七星的這樣說：我知道你的行為，你有名聲，說你是活著的，其實你是死的。

『你要寫信給在撒狄教會的使者說：『「那擁有着上帝之七靈和七星的這麼說：我知道你的行為：你名雖是活着，其實乃是死的。

「你要給那在薩迪斯教會的使者寫信說：「那位有神的七個靈和七顆星的，這樣說：我知道你的行為，你名義上是活的，其實你是死的。

當書達撒狄會之使者云、有上帝之七神、及七星者、曰、我知爾諸行、名生而實死、

爾當書達撒狄會使者、曰、主有上帝七神、執七星、言曰、吾知爾所為、名生實死、

爾當書達撒狄教會使者、曰、有天主七神、又執七星者、如是云、我知爾之作為、名為生、實則死、

爾其寓書於撒爾底教會之守護天神曰：彼具有天主之七神與七星者、有所曉諭於爾：吾知爾之行實；爾雖生實死、

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

“ Here is what I command you to write to the church in Sardis. Here are the words of Jesus, who holds the seven spirits of God. He has the seven stars in his hand. He says,‘ I know what you are doing. People think you are alive, but you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write:‘ The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.“‘ I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Sardis. This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars:“ I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive— but you are dead.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Sardis: Thus says the one who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars, says this:‘ I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, and yet you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write,‘ These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars:“ I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and thou art dead.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Sardis:“ The One who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write the following:“ This is the solemn pronouncement of the one who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars:‘ I know your deeds, that you have a reputation that you are alive, but in reality you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write:“ He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things:“ I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

但好宴樂的寡婦活着也算是死了。

約翰寫信給亞細亞的七個教會。願那位今在、昔在、以後永在的神，與他寶座前的七靈，和那忠信的見證者、從死人中復活的首生者、世上君王的元首耶穌基督，賜恩惠和平安給你們。他愛我們，用自己的血使我們從罪中得釋放，

所以，就如身體沒有靈魂是死的，信心沒有行為也是死的。

我知道你的行為：愛心、信心、勤勞、忍耐；又知道你末後所行的善事比起初所行的更多。

你們從前在過犯和未受割禮的肉體中死了，神卻赦免了你們一切的過犯，使你們與基督一同活過來，

這樣的人是你們愛筵上的污點；他們無所懼怕地同你們宴樂，彷彿牧人只顧餵飽自己。他們是無雨的浮雲，被風飄蕩；是秋天沒有果子的樹，死而又死，連根被拔出來；

竟在我們因過犯而死了的時候，使我們與基督一同活過來－可見你們得救是本乎恩－

可是你這個弟弟是死而復活，失而復得的，所以我們理當歡喜慶祝。』」

因為我這個兒子是死而復活，失而復得的。』他們就開始慶祝。

他右手拿着七顆星，從他口中吐出一把兩刃的利劍，面貌好像烈日放光。

從前，你們因着自己的過犯罪惡而死了。

我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之處；當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們中間，在撒但所住的地方被殺之時，你還堅守我的名，沒有否認對我的信仰。

有閃電、聲音、雷轟從寶座中發出。在寶座前點着七支火炬，就是神的七靈。

說：「把你所看見的寫在書上，寄給以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉那七個教會。」

我又看見寶座和四個活物，以及長老之中有羔羊站着，像是被殺的，有七個角七隻眼睛，就是神的七靈，奉差遣往普天下去的。

神所差來的說神的話，因為神所賜給他的聖靈是沒有限量的。

至於你所看見、在我右手中的七顆星和那七個金燈臺的奧祕就是：七顆星是七個教會的使者，七個燈臺是七個教會。」「你要寫信給以弗所教會的使者，說：『那右手拿着七顆星，在七個金燈臺中間行走的這樣說：我知道你的行為、勞碌、忍耐，也知道你不容忍惡人。你也曾察驗那自稱為使徒卻不是使徒的，看出他們是假的。

從他的豐富裏，我們都領受了恩典，而且恩上加恩。

我先前不認識他，可是那差我來用水施洗的對我說：『你看見聖靈降下來，停留在誰的身上，誰就是用聖靈施洗的。』

說了這話，他向他們吹一口氣，說：「領受聖靈吧！

查考在他們心裏的基督的靈預先證明基督受苦難，後來得榮耀，是指甚麼時候，甚麼樣的情況。

節期的最後一天，就是最隆重的一天，耶穌站着，喊着說：「人若渴了，到我這裏來喝！信我的人，就如經上所說：『從他腹中將流出活水的江河來。』」耶穌這話是指信他的人要受聖靈說的；那時還沒有賜下聖靈，因為耶穌還沒有得到榮耀。

他既被高舉在神的右邊，又從父受了所應許的聖靈，就把你們所看見所聽見的，澆灌下來。

我知道你的患難和貧窮－其實你卻是富足的，也知道那自稱是猶太人的所說毀謗的話，其實他們不是猶太人，而是撒但會堂的人。

「但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來的那真理的靈，他來的時候要為我作見證。你們也要作見證，因為你們從起初就與我同在。」
