He who disciplines the nations, will He not rebuke, He who teaches mankind knowledge?

as unknown and yet well known, as dying and yet behold, we are alive; as punished and yet not put to death,

With rebukes You punish a person for wrongdoing; You consume like a moth what is precious to him; Certainly all mankind is mere breath! Selah

Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

But it is good always to be eagerly sought in a commendable way, and not only when I am present with you.
