Who is the liar but the person who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This one is the antichrist: the person who denies the Father and the Son.Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father either. The person who confesses the Son has the Father also.

Because you have kept my admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

lest I become satisfied and act deceptively and say,“ Who is the LORD?” Or lest I become poor and steal and demean the name of my God.

Remember what I told you,‘ A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they obeyed my word, they will obey yours too.

I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith!

The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. When they stumble, they will be granted some help. But many will unite with them deceitfully.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our forefathers, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you handed over and rejected in the presence of Pilate after he had decided to release him.But you rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a man who was a murderer be released to you.

I asked the Lord three times about this, that it would depart from me.But he said to me,“ My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me.Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
