四個活物就說：「阿們！」眾長老也俯伏敬拜。

寶座的周圍設有二十四個座位，有二十四位長老坐在上面，他們身穿白袍，頭戴金冠。

來吧，讓我們俯伏敬拜，在創造我們的耶和華面前跪下。

祂拿過書卷後，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿著豎琴和盛滿了香的金香爐。那些香就是眾聖徒的祈禱。

那二十四位長老和四個活物也俯伏敬拜坐在寶座上的上帝，說：「阿們！哈利路亞！」

在上帝面前，坐在自己座位上的二十四位長老都一同俯伏敬拜上帝，說：

耶和華啊，偉大、權能、榮耀、尊貴和威嚴都是你的，天上地下的一切都是你的。耶和華啊，國度是你的，你是萬有的主宰。富貴和尊榮都從你而來，你掌管一切，你手中有權能和力量，能使人尊大、強盛。我們的上帝啊，我們稱頌你，讚美你榮耀的名。「我算什麼，我的人民算什麼，怎麼配向你奉獻？因為萬物都從你而來，我們只是把從你那裡得來的獻給你。我們在你面前只是客旅，是寄居的，像我們祖先一樣；我們在世的日子就像影子一樣轉瞬即逝。我們的上帝耶和華啊，我們為你的聖名建造殿宇所預備的這一切財物都是從你那裡來的，都屬於你。

眾天使都站在寶座、眾長老和四個活物的周圍，在寶座前俯伏敬拜上帝，說：

主啊，誰敢不敬畏你，不尊崇你的名呢？因為只有你是聖潔的，萬民都必到你面前敬拜你，因為你公義的作為已經彰顯出來了。」

說：「如果你俯伏敬拜我，我就把這一切都給你。」耶穌說：「撒旦，走開！聖經上說，『要敬拜主——你的上帝，單單事奉祂。』」

願君王都敬拜他，萬國都事奉他。

以上都是我約翰親眼看見、親耳聽見的事。當我聽見、看見這些事後，就俯伏敬拜將這一切指示給我的天使。天使對我說：「千萬不可！我與你、你的眾先知弟兄和那些遵行這書上話語的人同是上帝的奴僕，你要敬拜上帝。」

每逢這些活物將榮耀、尊貴、感謝獻給坐在寶座上、活到永永遠遠的那位時，

他們進了屋子，看見孩子和祂母親瑪麗亞，就俯伏在地上拜祂，並打開盛寶物的盒子獻上黃金、乳香和沒藥作禮物。

門徒都敬拜祂，然後歡歡喜喜地回到耶路撒冷。

大衛對全體會眾說：「你們要頌讚你們的上帝耶和華。」於是，全體會眾頌讚他們祖先的上帝耶和華，向耶和華和王俯伏下拜。

全體以色列人看見有火降下，又看見耶和華的榮光停在殿上，便俯伏敬拜，稱謝耶和華說：「耶和華是美善的，祂的慈愛永遠長存。」

但靠著上帝的恩典，我成了今天的我，祂賜給我的恩典沒有枉費。我比其他人更加賣力，不過我不是靠自己，而是上帝的恩典與我同在。

約伯站起來，撕裂外袍，剃掉頭髮，俯伏在地上敬拜，

耶和華啊，不要將榮耀歸於我們，不要歸於我們。願榮耀歸於你的名，因為你慈愛、信實！
