If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

The first handful of dough that is offered is holy. This makes all of the dough holy. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

And since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy, their descendants will also be holy— just as the entire batch of dough is holy because the portion given as an offering is holy. For if the roots of the tree are holy, the branches will be, too.

Now if the firstfruits are holy, so is the whole batch. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.

If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are as well.

If the first portion of the dough offered is holy, then the whole batch is holy, and if the root is holy, so too are the branches.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest.

Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase:

The first of all the first fruits of every thing, and every offering of everything, of all your offerings, shall be for the priest. You shall also give to the priests the first of your dough, to cause a blessing to rest on your house.

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ When you come into the land where I bring you,then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Yahweh.Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering. As the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.Of the first of your dough, you shall give to Yahweh a wave offering throughout your generations.

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree,

Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.

Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a pure and faithful seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?

and to bring the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of all kinds of trees, year by year, to Yahweh’s house;also the firstborn of our sons, and of our livestock, as it is written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God;and that we should bring the first fruits of our dough, our wave offerings, the fruit of all kinds of trees, and the new wine and the oil, to the priests, to the rooms of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

“ You shall not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses.“ You shall give the firstborn of your sons to me.

You shall give him the first fruits of your grain, of your new wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep.
