主何以應之？曰：『吾尚為己保留七千人、皆未曾屈膝於巴耳者也。』

And what was God’s answer to him?“ I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

How did God answer him? God said,“ I have kept 7,000 people for myself. They have not bowed down to Baal.”( 1 Kings 19:18)

But what is God’s reply to him?“ I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

And do you remember God’s reply? He said,“ No, I have 7,000 others who have never bowed down to Baal!”

But what was God’s answer to him? I have left seven thousand for myself who have not bowed down to Baal.

But what is the divine response to him?“ I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

But what does the divine response say to him?“ I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

But what was God’s reply to him? I have left 7,000 men for Myself who have not bowed down to Baal.

Yet will I leave me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

When Ephraim spake, there was trembling; he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.

For she did not know that I gave her the grain, and the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied unto her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.

Your eyes have seen what Jehovah did because of Baal- peor; for all the men that followed Baal- peor, Jehovah thy God hath destroyed them from the midst of thee.

and have built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons in the fire for burnt- offerings unto Baal; which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his worshippers, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtlety, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.And Jehu said, Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

And they forsook Jehovah, and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.

And I will stretch out my hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarim with the priests;

And Israel joined himself unto Baal- peor: and the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel.
