但耶和华至今还没有赐给你们能明白的心、能看见的眼、能听清的耳。

因为耶和华把沉睡的灵倾倒在你们身上，祂封住你们的眼睛，盖住你们的头。你们的眼睛就是先知，你们的头就是先见。

但以色列人的心刚硬，直到今日，他们每逢读旧约的时候，同样的帕子还在那里，没有揭去。因为只有在基督里，那帕子才能被除去。时至今日，每逢他们读摩西律法的时候，帕子仍然蒙在他们心上。

我用比喻教导他们是因为他们视而不见，听而不闻，闻而不悟。以赛亚的预言正应验在他们身上，“‘你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不领悟。

“人子啊，你住在叛逆的人当中。他们有眼睛却视而不见，有耳朵却听而不闻，因为他们是叛逆的人。

‘听着，你们这群愚昧无知的人啊，你们视而不见，听而不闻。

那些移民到撒玛利亚各城的外族人既敬拜耶和华，又供奉自己的偶像。直到今日，他们的子孙仍是这样。

祂说，“‘你去告诉百姓，你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不领悟。

耶稣说：“上帝国的奥秘只让你们知道，对于外人，我只用比喻，使他们‘看了又看，却不领悟；听了又听，却不明白，免得他们回心转意，得到赦免。’”

耶稣便说：“上帝国的奥秘只让你们知道，对其他人，我就用比喻，使他们看却看不见，听却听不明白。

祂说：“你去告诉以色列人，“‘你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不领悟。’

直到现在，他们仍然执迷不悟，不敬畏耶和华，也不遵行耶和华赐给雅各子孙的律例、典章、法度和诫命。耶和华曾给雅各取名叫以色列，
