試一思之、爾昔日所行、今日所恥之種切、於爾究有何益？死亡為其必然之結果！

What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!

What benefit did you gain from doing the things you are now ashamed of? Those things lead to death!

But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom.

So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? The outcome of those things is death.

Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.

What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things[ is] death.

who, knowing the ordinance of God, that they that practise such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with them that practise them.

For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Stolen waters are sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.But he knoweth not that the dead are there; That her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

Wherefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.

Behold, I am of small account; What shall I answer thee? I lay my hand upon my mouth.

For the time is come for judgment to begin at the house of God: and if it begin first at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the gospel of God?

They have sown wheat, and have reaped thorns; they have put themselves to pain, and profit nothing: and ye shall be ashamed of your fruits, because of the fierce anger of Jehovah.

O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of face, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

Say ye of the righteous, that it shall be well with him; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall; in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith Jehovah.

I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

let him know, that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.

Then shalt thou remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder sisters and thy younger; and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah;that thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more, because of thy shame, when I have forgiven thee all that thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Until I went into the sanctuary of God, And considered their latter end.

Lest strangers be filled with thy strength, And thy labors be in the house of an alien,And thou mourn at thy latter end, When thy flesh and thy body are consumed,And say, How have I hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof;Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; yet thou hadst a harlot’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

and I said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God; for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our guiltiness is grown up unto the heavens.

But when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish here with hunger!I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight:I am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.And he arose, and came to his father. But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight: I am no more worthy to be called thy son.

Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.

whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.

For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
