所以弟兄們，你們當恆久忍耐，直到主的來臨。看哪，農夫等待著田地裡寶貴的果實，為此恆久忍耐，直到果實得著秋雨春雨。

因為我要用水澆灌乾渴之處，用河流澆灌乾旱之地；我要把我的靈澆灌在你的後裔身上，把我的祝福澆灌在你的子孫身上。

所以你們當彼此認罪，彼此代求，好使你們得痊癒。義人所做的祈禱是大有力量的。以利亞和我們同樣是人，但他用禱告來祈求不要降雨，果然地上三年零六個月沒有降雨。後來他又禱告，天就降下雨水，地也產出果實來。

主必賜下雨水給你播在地裡的種子，並要使地裡出肥美豐盛的糧食。到那日，你的牲畜將在寬闊的草場上吃草；

「不斷祈求吧，就會給你們；不斷尋找吧，就會找到；不斷敲門吧，就會為你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得到；尋找的，就找到；敲門的，就為他開門。

我必使它荒廢，既不修剪，也不翻耕，任荊棘和蒺藜長起來；我還要吩咐烏雲不降雨水在其上。

你從你的樓閣澆灌群山；因你作工的成果，大地就飽足。

你眷顧大地，澆灌它，使它極其肥沃；神的河渠滿了水；你為人們預備五穀；你就是這樣預備了大地。

在那一天，你們什麼也不會問我了。「我確確實實地告訴你們：你們奉我的名無論向父求什麼，他都將賜給你們。

君王的容光，帶來生命；他的恩典，如帶來春雨的雲。

他必降臨，如同雨水降在割過的草地上，又如細雨滋潤大地。

我栽種了，阿波羅澆灌了，然而使之生長的還是神。
