蓋吾儕固為基督飽嘗苦難、亦因基督而飽領神慰。

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

We share very much in the sufferings of Christ. So we also share very much in his comfort.

For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.

My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all courage, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.

Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?If boasting is necessary, I will boast about my weaknesses.
