你们所送的我都全数收到了，而且绰绰有余；我已经足够了，因我从以巴弗提收到你们所送的，好像馨香之气，是神所接纳所喜悦的祭物。我的神必照他在基督耶稣里荣耀的丰富，满足你们的一切需要。

当时，使徒、长老和全教会都认为好，就从他们中间选出人来，差他们和保罗、巴拿巴一同到安提阿去，所选的就是别号巴撒巴的犹大和西拉，他们是弟兄中的领袖。

因为这供应的事，不仅补足了圣徒的缺乏，也使许多人对神感谢的心格外增多。众圣徒因为你们承认和服从了基督的福音，并且慷慨地捐输给他们和众人，藉着你们在这供应的事上所得的凭据，就把荣耀归给神。因着神在你们身上的厚恩，他们就为你们祷告，切切地想念你们。

神能把各样的恩惠多多地加给你们，使你们凡事常常充足，多作各样的善事。

弟兄们，我现在把神赐给马其顿众教会的恩典告诉你们：他们在患难中受到极大的考验的时候，他们满溢的喜乐和极度的贫乏，汇流出丰厚的慷慨来。我可以作证，他们是按着能力，并且是超过了能力，自愿地再三恳求我们，准许他们在供应圣徒的事上有分。

因此，我们一致同意，选派一些人跟我们亲爱的巴拿巴和保罗去见你们，

你们要作神各样恩赐的好管家，各人照着所领受的恩赐彼此服事。讲道的，应当按着神的圣言讲；服事的，应当按着神所赐的力量服事，为要在一切事上，使神藉耶稣基督得荣耀。荣耀、权能都是他的，直到永永远远。阿们。

因此，我们勉励提多，既然开始了这慈善的事，就应当在你们那里把这事办好。你们在一切事上，就如信心、口才、知识、热情和爱我们的心，既然都是富足的，那么，在这慈善的事上，也要显出你们是富足的。

所以弟兄们，应当从你们中间选出七个有好见证、满有圣灵和智慧的人，我们就派他们负责这事。至于我们，我们要专心祈祷、传道。”这个意见全会众都很满意，于是选出司提反，他是一位满有信心和圣灵的人，还有腓利、伯罗哥罗、尼加挪、提门、巴米拿，以及归信犹太教的安提阿人尼哥拉，叫他们站在使徒面前。使徒祷告后，就为他们按手。
