有一位好像人子耶穌的站在這些燈臺中間。祂長袍垂腳，金帶圍胸，頭與髮白如羊毛、潔白如雪，眼睛像火焰，雙腳像爐中冶煉過的銅一樣光亮，聲音如同洪濤之聲。祂右手拿著七顆星，口中吐出一把兩刃的利劍，面貌如烈日放光。我一看見祂，便仆倒在祂腳前，像死了一樣。祂把右手按在我身上，說：「不要害怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，

他大喊的時候，聲如獅吼，之後有七聲雷鳴。我正要將雷鳴的意思記錄下來，就聽見天上有聲音說：「你要封住七聲雷鳴所說的事，別寫下來。」

四個輪子的形狀和結構都一樣，好像輪套輪，如同閃耀的綠寶石。

我又看見四個基路伯天使旁各有一個閃耀如綠寶石的輪子。

這些活物像閃電一樣往來飛馳。

他們移動時，翅膀發出的響聲如洪濤之聲，既像全能者的聲音，又像軍隊的呐喊。活物站住的時候，便將翅膀垂下。

他們的腿是直的，腳如同牛犢的蹄，都亮如磨光的銅。

我看見另一位大力天使從天而降。他身披雲霞，頭頂彩虹，臉如太陽，雙腿如火柱，

第四行是水蒼玉、紅瑪瑙和碧玉。這些寶石都要用金框圍著，鑲在胸牌上。

第五塊是紅瑪瑙，第六塊是紅寶石，第七塊是橄欖石，第八塊是水蒼玉，第九塊是黃寶石，第十塊是翡翠，第十一塊是紫瑪瑙，第十二塊是紫晶。

耶穌在禱告的時候，容貌改變了，衣裳潔白發光。
