When the richest provinces feel secure, he will invade them and will achieve what neither his fathers nor his forefathers did. He will distribute plunder, loot and wealth among his followers. He will plot the overthrow of fortresses— but only for a time.

When the people in the richest areas feel secure, he will attack them. He will do what the kings before him could not do. And he will reward his followers with the goods and wealth he takes. He will make clever plans to take over the forts. But that will last for only a short time.

Without warning he shall come into the richest parts of the province, and he shall do what neither his fathers nor his fathers’ fathers have done, scattering among them plunder, spoil, and goods. He shall devise plans against strongholds, but only for a time.

耶稣知道他们的心意，就说：“你们为什么心里怀着恶念呢？

好施散的，有多人求他的恩情；爱送礼的，人都为他的朋友。

贿赂在馈送的人眼中看为宝玉，随处运动都得顺利。

他们得了坚固的城邑、肥美的地土、充满各样美物的房屋、凿成的水井、葡萄园、橄榄园，并许多果木树。他们就吃而得饱，身体肥胖，因你的大恩，心中快乐。

他必向至高者说夸大的话，必折磨至高者的圣民，必想改变节期和律法。圣民必交付他手一载、二载、半载。

就从巴力比利土的庙中取了七十舍客勒银子给亚比米勒；亚比米勒用以雇了些匪徒跟随他。

主耶和华如此说：“到那时，你心必起意念，图谋恶计，

因为他心怎样思量，他为人就是怎样。他虽对你说：“请吃，请喝”，他的心却与你相背。
