遣兵戍守、彼眾玷污聖所及聖城、聖城或作聖所鞏固之城去日獻之祭、設殘賊可惡之物、

“ His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

“ His army will come and make the temple area‘ unclean.’ They will put a stop to the daily sacrifices. Then they will set up a hated thing that destroys.

Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.

“ His army will take over the Temple fortress, pollute the sanctuary, put a stop to the daily sacrifices, and set up the sacrilegious object that causes desecration.

His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the regular sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.

Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.

And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

And forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt- offering, and they shall set up the abomination that maketh desolate.

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily[ sacrifice], and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

從除掉不斷獻的燔祭、並設立那使地荒涼的可憎之像、那時候起、必有一千二百九十日。

一個七之內、他必跟許多人堅定盟約；一個七之一半、他必使宰祭和素祭止息；代替這祭獻的必是個可憎者、使聖地荒涼者，直到毁滅之事、鐵定之事、傾倒在那使聖地荒涼者身上為止。』

『所以你們幾時看見由神言人但以理所說那「引致荒涼的可憎之像」立在聖地上（誦讀的人須要了悟啊）；

『你們幾時看見那「引致荒涼的可憎之像」立在不當立的地方（誦讀的人須要了悟啊），那時在猶太的就要逃到山上；

牠逕自擴大勢力，甚至自以為是天象之君，竟把不斷獻與天象之君的燔祭除掉，把天象之君的聖建築拋棄。有軍隊被遣派，以犯罪行為阻撓不斷獻之祭；牠將真理拋棄地上，任意而行，無不順利。我聽見有一位聖者在說話；又有一位聖者問那說話的聖者，說：『關於以下這些事的異象要延到幾時呢？關於這不斷獻的燔祭之被除掉和那使地荒涼的罪過行為、以及將聖所和拜神儀節任意踐踏的事；要延到幾時呢？

『你們幾時看見耶路撒冷被軍隊圍着，那時就可以知道她的荒涼近了。

永恆主屏絕了自己的祭壇，斥棄了自己的聖所，將她宮堡的牆交於仇敵手中；他們在永恆主殿中喧嚷，像在制定節日一樣。

他對他們說：『要使這殿沾上污穢，使院中充滿了被刺死的人；你們只管出去！在城中進行擊殺。』

所以你們要謹慎，恐怕神言人書上所說的臨到你們：主說：「藐視的人哪，你們要看，要希奇，要滅沒！因為當你們的日子、我作一件事，若有人向你們詳敘了，你們也總不信的！」』

所說暮暮朝朝所見的景象乃是真的；但你要將這異象封住，因為那是關於將來許多年日的。』

他的權勢必然強盛，卻不是出於他自己的權勢：他必行極出奇的毁滅，順利成功而行；他又必毁滅強盛者和聖者之民。

你所看見的十個角就是十個王；他們還沒有得國，但必跟獸同得權柄、做王一個時辰。

「你要告訴以色列家說：主永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必使我的聖所、你們勢力所驕矜的、你們眼裏所喜愛的、你們心中所愛惜的、被褻瀆；你們留下的兒女必倒斃於刀下。那時你們要照我所行的去行：不蒙着嘴脣，也不喫居喪者的飯。

他們把它的妝飾之華美變成了狂傲的因由，又用它去製造可憎可厭惡的形像，因此我使他們看它為污穢之物。我必將它交於外族人的手做掠物，交於地上的惡人為擄物；他們必褻瀆它。

敵人伸開了手，奪取她的一切寶物；她眼看着外國人進入她的聖所，就是你曾吩咐不許進入你公會的。
