No one’s ears have ever heard of a God like you. No one’s eyes have ever seen a God who is greater than you. No God but you acts for the good of those who trust in him.

From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him.

For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!

How great is your favor, which you store up for your loyal followers! In plain sight of everyone you bestow it on those who take shelter in you.

But just as it is written,“ Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love him.”God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains.

At that time they will say,“ Look, here is our God! We waited for him and he delivered us. Here is the LORD! We waited for him. Let’s rejoice and celebrate his deliverance!”

that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to his saints.God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love,you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

I rely on the LORD, I rely on him with my whole being; I wait for his assuring word.

I wait for your deliverance, O LORD.

And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: He was revealed in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

But as it is, they aspire to a better land, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

( See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children– and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know him.Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is.

Now this secret was not disclosed to people in former generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,namely, that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.I became a servant of this gospel according to the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the exercise of his power.To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christand to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan– a secret that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things.The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms.

The LORD is good to those who trust in him, to the one who seeks him.It is good to wait patiently for deliverance from the LORD.

Then the king will say to those on his right,‘ Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come again and take you to be with me, so that where I am you may be too.

For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.

so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For this reason the LORD is ready to show you mercy; he sits on his throne, ready to have compassion on you. Indeed, the LORD is a just God; all who wait for him in faith will be blessed.

Now there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon who was righteous and devout, looking for the restoration of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life– water as clear as crystal– pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb,flowing down the middle of the city’s main street. On each side of the river is the tree of life producing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month of the year. Its leaves are for the healing of the nations.And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him,and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, and the sea existed no more.And I saw the holy city– the new Jerusalem– descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:“ Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more– or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.”

Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies.For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees?But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance.

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath.

For God alone I patiently wait; he is the one who delivers me.

Now I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God– the All- Powerful– and the Lamb are its temple.The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.The nations will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur into it.
