我耳中聞主大聲呼曰、當使操權以罰此邑者、各執殺人之器械前來、有六人、自向北之上門而來、各執滅人之器械、中有一人、身衣白細麻衣、腰懸文具、咸入立於銅祭臺側、以色列天主之榮光、自基路伯上而升、至於殿之門閾、召衣白細麻衣、腰懸文具者來、主諭之曰、爾巡行耶路撒冷邑中、凡因邑中所行可憎之事、嗟嘆欷歔者、則畫號於其額上、我聞主命其餘之人曰、爾曹從其後巡邑、徧行殺戮、爾目勿顧惜、爾勿加矜憫、老幼處子、孩提婦女、俱當殺盡、惟有號於額者勿殺、殺必始於我之聖所、彼乃自殿前之長老始、主又諭之曰、爾當污殿、使諸院盈以被殺者、爾曹出哉、遂出而殺戮於邑中、

主又曰、我必循爾作為當得之果報、降罰於爾、必燃火於林中、四面焚燬、

鐵工吹炭火、製造適用之器械者、乃我所造、施行毀滅者、亦我所造、凡器為攻爾而製者、必不利、凡起而與爾舌戰者、必為爾所勝、此我我原文作主之僕所居之業、業或作景況即彼自我我原文作主所得之義、義或作福澤此乃主所言、

利巴嫩歟、當啟爾門、任火焚爾柏香木、

主曰、以色列族歟、我使一族、來自遠方攻爾、為強族、乃古族、爾不識其言、不明其所語、

平素鞏固之城垣荒蕪、昔日居處之宅第見棄、淒涼如野、牛犢牧於彼、臥於彼、食盡其枝、枝條枯槁、必被毀折、婦女拾取、用以燃火、因此民蒙昧無知、故造之者不憫之、作之者不向之施恩、

迨降罰於爾之日、禍患來自遠方之時、爾將何為、向何人而奔逃求救、爾之榮華、榮華或作富有存於何處、若不蹶於俘囚中、必仆於見殺者間、或作不蒙我祐或蹶於俘囚中或仆於被殺者間雖然、主怒猶未息也、主手仍不縮也、○亞述人必受禍、我怒如梃、我忿猶杖、為其手所執、我遣之攻邪惡之國、命之罰我所怒之民、擄掠攘奪、蹂躪人民、若街衢之泥然、惟亞述王不如是思維、心中不如是意念、乃欲毀滅諸國、欲殄絕淨盡、

君聞之、則怒、遣兵滅此兇人、而焚其邑、

主曰、當是日是時、雖尋以色列之愆尤、亦無所有、雖尋猶大之罪戾、亦無所見、因我所存之民、我必赦之、主曰、當往攻背逆之邦、邦或作邑當罰其居民、殺戮毀滅淨盡、遵我所命爾者而行、戰爭之聲、聞於巴比倫地、並聞巴比倫遭大敗之風聲、碎全地之大鎚、何竟被折被碎、巴比倫在列邦中、何竟荒涼、
