故耶和華曰、時日將至、我必使戰鬥之警、聞於亞捫人之拉巴、俾其成為邱墟、屬邑為火所焚、其時以色列、必據昔據以色列者、耶和華言之矣、

In the days to come,” says the Lord,“ I will sound the battle cry against your city of Rabbah. It will become a desolate heap of ruins, and the neighboring towns will be burned. Then Israel will take back the land you took from her,” says the Lord.

Therefore look, the days are coming— this is the LORD’s declaration— when I will make the shout of battle heard against Rabbah of the Ammonites. It will become a desolate mound, and its surrounding villages will be set on fire. Israel will dispossess their dispossessors, says the LORD.

Because you did that, I, the LORD, affirm that a time is coming when I will make Rabbah, the capital city of Ammon, hear the sound of the battle cry. It will become a mound covered with ruins. Its villages will be burned to the ground. Then Israel will take back its land from those who took their land from them. I, the Lord, affirm it!

Therefore behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard against Rabbah of the children of Ammon; and it will become a desolate heap, and her daughters will be burned with fire: then Israel will possess those who possessed him,” says Yahweh.

我的肺腑，我的肺腑啊！我绞痛欲绝。我的心哪！我的心在我里面颤抖，我不能缄默不语。我的灵啊！我听见了号角的声音，也听见了战争的吶喊。

（利乏音人的余民中，只留下巴珊王噩一人；看哪，他的床是铁的，长四公尺，宽两公尺，这是按一般的尺寸量度，现在不是还在亚扪人的拉巴吗？）

你要定出一条路，使刀临到亚扪的拉巴，又要定出另一条路，使刀临到犹大，攻击坚固城耶路撒冷。

在战争之日的吶喊中，在风雨天的暴风中；我必在拉巴的城墙放火，烧毁他的堡垒。

过了年，在列王出征的时候，大卫派遣约押和自己的臣仆，以及以色列众军一同出征。他们歼灭了亚扪人，并且包围了拉巴。大卫却留在耶路撒冷。

所以我要把你交给东方人作产业；他们必在你那里安营，在你那里设立居所；他们必吃你的果子，喝你的奶。我必使拉巴成为牧放骆驼的地方，使亚扪人之地成为羊群躺卧之处。你们就知道我是耶和华。主耶和华这样说：因为你手舞足蹈，心存轻蔑，因以色列地的遭遇而欢喜。

耶和华啊！锡安听见你的判断就欢喜，犹大的各城（“各城”原文作“女子”）也都快乐。

以色列人夺取了这一切城，也住在亚摩利人的各城，就是希实本，与属于希实本的一切村庄。

耶和华怜悯雅各，再拣选以色列，使他们安居在自己的国土上的时候，外族人必与他们联合，归属于雅各家。以色列人必把他们带回自己的国土去，以色列家必在耶和华所赐的地上得着这些外族人作仆婢；也要掳掠那些掳掠过他们的，并且统治那些欺压过他们的。耶和华使你脱离痛苦、愁烦、被迫作的苦工，得享安息的日子，

因你的审判，锡安山应当欢喜，犹大的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）应当快乐。

摩西按着迦得支派的家族把产业分给迦得支派。他们的境界包括雅谢和基列所有的城，以及亚扪人的一半土地，直到拉巴前面的亚罗珥；

你的姊姊是撒玛利亚，她和她的女儿们住在你的北面；你的妹妹是所多玛，她和她的女儿们住在你的南面。你不但行她们所行的，作她们所作的可憎之事，而且你还以那些事为小，你一切所行的比她们更坏。我指着我的永生起誓，你的妹妹所多玛和她的女儿们，都没有行过像你和你女儿们所行的事。这是主耶和华的宣告。你妹妹所多玛的罪孽是这样：她和她的女儿们都骄傲自大，粮食丰足，生活安逸，却没有帮助困苦和贫穷的人。她们自高自傲，在我面前行了可憎的事；我看见了，就把她们除掉。撒玛利亚所犯的罪还不及你所犯的一半；你所行的可憎之事比她更多，以致你的姊妹因你所行的一切可憎之事而显为义。你既然使你的姊妹较显为义，你就要承担自己的耻辱；因为你所犯的罪比她们所犯的更可憎，她们比你更显为义。你使你的姊妹较显为义，所以你就要惭愧，承担自己的耻辱了。“‘我要使所多玛和她的女儿们，撒玛利亚和她的女儿们从苦境中转回，我也要使你们跟她们一起转回，好使你担当自己的耻辱，并且因你一切所行的使她们得了安慰，你就自觉惭愧。你的妹妹所多玛和她的女儿们必回复原来的状况；撒玛利亚和她的女儿们必回复原来的状况；你和你的女儿们也必回复原来的状况。

论到亚扪，耶和华这样说：“以色列没有子孙吗？没有后嗣吗？为什么米勒公竟承受了迦得为业呢？它的人民为什么住在迦得的城市里呢？

南地的人必占有以扫山，低地的人必占有非利士人之地；他们必占有以法莲的田野和撒玛利亚的田野；便雅悯人必占有基列。

约押派遣使者去见大卫，说：“我攻打拉巴，已经攻取了水城。现在，请你聚集其余的人民，安营攻打这城，把城攻取；免得我攻取了这城，人就以我的名字来叫这城。”于是大卫聚集所有的人民，向拉巴进军；攻打那城，把它攻取了。
