“ Flee from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of her sins. It is time for the Lord’s vengeance; he will repay her what she deserves.

“ People of Judah, run away from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of the sins of its people. It is time for me to pay them back. I will punish them for what they have done.

“ Flee from the midst of Babylon; let every one save his life! Be not cut off in her punishment, for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance, the repayment he is rendering her.

Flee from Babylon! Save yourselves! Don’t get trapped in her punishment! It is the Lord’s time for vengeance; he will repay her in full.

Leave Babylon; save your lives, each of you! Don’t perish because of her guilt. For this is the time of the LORD’s vengeance— he will pay her what she deserves.

爾其逃出巴比倫、去迦勒底人地、若牡山羊導其羣羊、

環之而呼、彼已投誠、其堞毀壞、其垣傾圮、斯乃耶和華復仇、爾當復仇於彼、依其所行而報之、

自巴比倫逃脫者、揚聲宣告於錫安、我上帝耶和華復仇、為其殿宇復仇也、

蓋有多國大王、必使其人服役、我必依其所行、及其手所作以報之、○

我民歟、當出其中以自救、避耶和華之烈怒、

摩西謂會眾曰、離此惡黨之幕、勿捫其物、恐與其罪、與之偕亡、

惟爾免於刃者、往哉、勿立、自遠方追念耶和華、懷思耶路撒冷、

耶和華曰、咨、我曾散爾於天之四風、爾其自北而遁、耶和華言之矣、咨、與巴比倫女偕居之錫安歟、爾其逃避、

大邑遂裂為三、列邦諸邑傾圮、且大巴比倫見憶於上帝前、致以恚怒之杯酒予之、

萬軍之主耶和華曰、狂傲者歟、我為爾敵、爾日已至、即罰爾之時也、

我儕欲醫巴比倫而不得、可去之、各歸故土、其禍滔天、上達穹蒼、

爾其出巴比倫地、避迦勒底人、謳歌宣揚、明示地極云、耶和華已贖其僕雅各、

礪乃矢、執乃盾、耶和華感瑪代諸王之心、以其定志滅巴比倫、斯乃耶和華復仇、為其殿宇復仇也、

倘礪閃爍之刃、施行審鞫、敵我者、我必罰之、憾我者、我必報之、

外遭鋒刃、內受驚惶、少男幼女、乳子白叟、淪胥以亡、

勿遽按手於人、勿與人罪、惟潔是務、

列邦必服事之、延及子孫、迨其國之期既屆、則有多國大王、使之服役、

是為萬軍之主耶和華之日、乃復仇之日、彼必復仇於敵、使刃食人而飽、飲血而足、緣萬軍之主耶和華、在北方伯拉河濱、有祀事焉、

爾列族歟、當與其民同樂、蓋彼必為其僕之血伸冤、報復厥敵、必為其地與民贖罪、○

與智者偕行、必成為智、與蠢人為侶、必受其傷、

我又聞有聲自天曰、我民乎、宜出乎彼、免與其罪而受其災、蓋厥罪滔天、上帝憶其不義、彼之加諸人者、亦加諸彼、依其所行而倍之、於其所調之杯、亦倍調予之、

及旦、天使促羅得曰、起、挈若妻、暨在此二女、恐因斯邑之罪、共罹滅亡、羅得遲延、二人執其手、與妻及女、咸引之出、置於邑外、蓋耶和華矜之也、既出、謂之曰、爾其遁逃、以全生命、毋返顧、毋止平原、宜避於山、免爾滅亡、

彼必飲之、搖曳顚狂、因我使鋒刃入於其中也、
