“ All this I have spoken while still with you.

“ These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you.

These things have I spoken unto you, while yet abiding with you.

I have said these things to you while still living with you.

“ I am telling you now, before it happens. When it does happen, you will believe that I am who I am.

I have told you now before it happens. Then when it does happen, you will believe.

“ I have much more to say to you. It is more than you can handle right now.

“ I have shown you to the disciples you gave me out of the world. They were yours. You gave them to me. And they have obeyed your word.Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.I gave them the words you gave me. And they accepted them. They knew for certain that I came from you. They believed that you sent me.

I have told you this so that you will have the same joy that I have. I also want your joy to be complete.

“ I have told you all this so that you will not turn away from the truth.You will be thrown out of the synagogue. In fact, the time is coming when someone may kill you. And they will think they are doing God a favor.They will do things like that because they do not know the Father or me.Why have I told you this? So that when their time comes, you will remember that I warned you about them. I didn’t tell you this from the beginning because I was with you.
