Philip said to him,“ Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

腓力說：“主啊，請把父顯示給我們，我們就滿足了。”

腓力對耶穌說：『主啊，將父指給我們看，我們就滿足了。』

腓力說：「主啊，請給我們看看父，我們就滿足了。」

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”

“ Lord,” said Philip,“ show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

“ Lord,” said Philip,“ show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father, and we will be content.”

Moses said,“ Please show me your glory.”He said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim Yahweh’s name before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”He said,“ You cannot see my face, for man may not see me and live.”Yahweh also said,“ Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock.It will happen, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand until I have passed by;then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back; but my face shall not be seen.”

Jesus therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.Philip answered him,“ Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”

There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee, and he found Philip. Jesus said to him,“ Follow me.”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.Philip found Nathanael, and said to him,“ We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”Nathanael said to him,“ Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him,“ Come and see.”

Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed Yahweh’s name.Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed,“ Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.”

These, therefore, came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying,“ Sir, we want to see Jesus.”Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn, Andrew came with Philip, and they told Jesus.

He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness.

As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.

So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.

I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
