At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath,

If a man receiveth circumcision on the sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are ye wroth with me, because I made a man every whit whole on the sabbath?

So the Jews said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath, and it is not lawful for thee to take up thy bed.But he answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.They asked him, Who is the man that said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?

And he took him by the right hand, and raised him up: and immediately his feet and his ankle- bones received strength.And leaping up, he stood, and began to walk; and he entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing befall thee.

And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? that they might accuse him.And he said unto them, What man shall there be of you, that shall have one sheep, and if this fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?How much then is a man of more value than a sheep! Wherefore it is lawful to do good on the sabbath day.Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, as the other.

And taking the child by the hand, he saith unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, Arise.And straightway the damsel rose up, and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were amazed straightway with a great amazement.

and he came and took her by the hand, and raised her up; and the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her plague.

And straightway the leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean.

And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And straightway he received his sight, and followed him in the way.

And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.And he saith unto the man that had his hand withered, Stand forth.And he saith unto them, Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
