A nation has invaded my land, a mighty army without number; it has the teeth of a lion, the fangs of a lioness.

The locusts are like a mighty army that has marched into our land. There are so many of them they can’t even be counted. Their teeth are as sharp as a lion’s teeth. They are like the fangs of a female lion.

For a nation has come up against my land, powerful and beyond number; its teeth are lions’ teeth, and it has the fangs of a lioness.

A vast army of locusts has invaded my land, a terrible army too numerous to count. Its teeth are like lions’ teeth, its fangs like those of a lioness.

我打发到你们中间的大军队，就是蝗虫、蝻子、蚂蚱、剪虫，那些年所吃的，我要补还你们。

使肥地变为碱地；这都因其间居民的罪恶。

那日是黑暗、幽冥、密云、乌黑的日子，好像晨光铺满山岭。有一队蝗虫又大又强；从来没有这样的，以后直到万代也必没有。它们前面如火烧灭，后面如火焰烧尽。未到以前，地如伊甸园；过去以后，成了荒凉的旷野；没有一样能躲避它们的。它们的形状如马，奔跑如马兵。在山顶蹦跳的响声如车辆的响声，又如火焰烧碎秸的响声，好像强盛的民摆阵预备打仗。它们一来，众民伤恸，脸都变色。它们如勇士奔跑，像战士爬城；各都步行，不乱队伍。彼此并不拥挤，向前各行其路，直闯兵器，不偏左右。它们蹦上城，蹿上墙，爬上房屋，进入窗户如同盗贼。它们一来，地震天动，日月昏暗，星宿无光。耶和华在他军旅前发声，他的队伍甚大；成就他命的是强盛者。因为耶和华的日子大而可畏，谁能当得起呢？

蝗虫的形状，好像预备出战的马一样，头上戴的好像金冠冕，脸面好像男人的脸面，头发像女人的头发，牙齿像狮子的牙齿。胸前有甲，好像铁甲。它们翅膀的声音，好像许多车马奔跑上阵的声音。有尾巴像蝎子，尾巴上的毒钩能伤人五个月。

必冲入犹大，涨溢泛滥，直到颈项。以马内利啊，他展开翅膀，遍满你的地。”

荆棘蒺藜必长在我百姓的地上，又长在欢乐的城中和一切快乐的房屋上。

有一宗人，牙如剑，齿如刀，要吞灭地上的困苦人和世间的穷乏人。

蚂蚁是无力之类，却在夏天预备粮食。沙番是软弱之类，却在磐石中造房。蝗虫没有君王，却分队而出。

他们必不得住耶和华的地；以法莲却要归回埃及，必在亚述吃不洁净的食物。
