因为你是不喜爱邪恶的神，恶人不能与你同住。狂傲的人不能在你眼前站立，你恨恶所有作恶的人。

恶人虽然没有人追赶，仍然逃跑；义人却像狮子，放胆无惧。

即使他们把儿女养大，我也必使他们丧子，一个不留。我离弃他们的时候，他们就有祸了。”

耶路撒冷啊！应当受警戒，免得我的心与你疏远，免得我使你荒凉，成为无人居住之地。”

可厌恶的物，你不可带进家里去，免得你与那物一样成了当毁灭的；你要非常憎恨它，十分厌恶它，因为这是当毁灭的物。”

你的眼目纯洁，不看邪恶，不能坐视奸恶；为什么见行诡诈的人而不理？恶人吞灭比自己公义的人，你为什么缄默呢？

哈该又说：“人若因触着尸体而成为不洁，又触着这些东西的任何一样，这就算为不洁吗？”祭司都回答说：“要算为不洁净。”于是哈该回答，说：“耶和华说：‘这民也是这样，这国在我面前也是这样；他们手里的一切工作，都是这样；他们在那里所献的，都是不洁净的。’

“如果这人民、或先知、或祭司问你说：‘耶和华有什么默示呢？’你要回答他们：‘你们就是重担（按照《马索拉文本》，“你们就是重担”应作“什么默示？”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译。“重担”和“默示”原文是同一个字），我要丢弃你们。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

而是你们的罪孽使你们与你们的神隔绝；你们的罪恶使他掩面不顾你们，不听你们的祷告。

耶和华的使者对以色列众人说这些话的时候，众人就放声大哭。

你们今日竟转离不跟从耶和华吗？今日你们既然背叛耶和华，明日他必向以色列全体会众发怒了。如果你们认为所得的地业不洁净，你们可以过到耶和华的地业，就是耶和华的帐幕居住的地方，在我们中间得地业；只是不可背叛耶和华，也不可背叛我们，在耶和华我们的神的坛以外，为自己筑另一座坛。从前谢拉的曾孙亚干，不是在当毁灭的物上犯了不忠的罪，以致神的忿怒临到以色列全体会众吗？因他的罪孽而死的，还不只他一人呢！’”
