And this again ye do: ye cover the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your hand.

我又看見日光之下所發生一切欺壓的事：受欺壓的流淚，卻無人安慰他們；欺壓他們的，手裡握著權柄，因此無人安慰受欺壓的。

即使他們禁食，我也不會聽他們的呼求；即使他們獻上燔祭和素祭，我也不會悅納；我卻要用刀劍、饑荒和瘟疫去滅盡他們。”

他瑪把塵土撒在自己的頭上，撕裂身上的長袖彩衣，又把一隻手放在頭上，一邊行走一邊哭叫。她哥哥押沙龍問她：“是不是你哥哥暗嫩與你親近了？我妹妹啊，你現在不要作聲，他是你的哥哥，你不要把這事放在心上。”於是他瑪孤單淒涼地住在她哥哥押沙龍的家裡。

耶和華說：“你們獻上眾多祭物，對我有甚麼益處呢？公綿羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂肪，我已經夠了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我都不喜悅。你們來朝見我的時候，誰要求你們這樣踐踏我的院子呢？不要再帶沒有意義的供物來了，燒獻祭物的香氣也是我厭惡的。我厭煩月朔、安息日和集會；作罪孽又守嚴肅會，是我不能容忍的。你們的月朔和制定的節期，我心裡恨惡；它們都成了我的重擔，我已承擔得不耐煩了。所以你們張開雙手的時候，我必掩眼不看你們；即使你們多多禱告，我也不聽；你們的手都沾滿血腥。

惡人的祭物是耶和華厭惡的；正直人的禱告卻是他所喜悅的。

從示巴來的乳香，從遠地出的菖蒲，獻給我有甚麼益處呢？你們的燔祭不蒙悅納，你們的祭祀我不喜悅。”

你要自己謹慎，不可心裡起惡念，說：‘第七年的豁免年近了’，你就冷眼對待你窮苦的兄弟，甚麼都不給他，以致他因你求告耶和華，你就有罪了。

惡人的祭物是耶和華所厭惡的，更何況是懷著惡念來獻的呢？
