所以時候還沒有到，你們不要批評，直等到主來；他要照出黑暗中的隱情，顯明人心裡的動機。那時，各人要從神那裡得著稱讚。

有些人的罪是明顯的，就先受審判；有些人的罪是後來才顯露出來的。

人若不住在我裡面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾了，人把它們拾起來，丟在火裡燒掉了。

那時，你們就要再看出義人與惡人、事奉神的人和不事奉他的人之間有甚麼分別。”萬軍之耶和華說：“看哪！那日來到，像燒著的火爐一樣；驕傲的和作惡的，都必成為碎稭；那要來的日子，必把他們燒盡，不給他們留下一根一枝。

“王也要對左邊的說：‘你們這被咒詛的，離開我，到為魔鬼和他的使者所預備的永火裡去吧！

撒稗子的仇敵是魔鬼，收割的時候是這世代的終結，收割的工人是天使。稗子怎樣被拔掉用火焚燒，在這世代終結的時候，也是一樣。那時，人子要差派他的使者，把一切使人犯罪的事和不法之徒，從他的國中拔掉，丟進火爐，在那裡必要哀哭切齒。那時，義人在他們父的國中，要像太陽一樣的照耀。有耳的，就應當聽。

萬族要聚集在他面前，他要把他們彼此分開，好像牧羊人把綿羊和山羊分開一樣：

堅固的城變為淒涼，成了被撇下、被放棄的居所，像曠野一樣；牛犢必在那裡吃草，在那裡躺臥，並且吃盡那裡的樹枝。枝條枯乾了，就必被折斷；婦女必來，拿去生火，因為這人民愚昧無知，所以他們的創造主不憐憫他們，那造成他們的，不向他們施恩。

半夜，有人喊叫：‘新郎來了，快出來迎接他。’那些童女都醒過來，整理她們的燈。愚蠢的對聰明的說：‘請把你們的油分一點給我們，我們的燈快要滅了。’聰明的回答：‘這些恐怕不夠我們大家用，不如你們自己到賣油的地方去買吧！’她們去買油的時候，新郎來了；準備好了的童女就和他一同進去參加婚筵，門就關上了。後來，其餘的童女也來到，說：‘主啊，主啊，給我們開門吧！’新郎卻回答：‘我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。’所以你們要警醒，因為不知道那日子和那時間。

看哪！已經拋在火裡當作燃料，火既燒毀了兩端，連中間也燒焦了，它還可以用來製造物件嗎？看哪！它完整的時候，尚且不能用來製造物件，何況它被火燒毀和燒焦了，它還能用來做甚麼呢？”因此，主耶和華這樣說：“我怎樣把樹林中的葡萄樹拋在火裡當作燃料，也必照樣對待耶路撒冷的居民。我必變臉攻擊他們；他們雖然從火裡逃出來，火仍要吞滅他們；我變臉攻擊他們的時候，你們就知道我是耶和華。

“那些僕人就走到街上，把所有遇見的，不論好人壞人，都招聚了來，婚筵上就坐滿了人。王進來與赴筵的人見面，看見有一個人沒有穿著婚筵的禮服，就對他說：‘朋友，你沒有婚筵的禮服，怎能進到這裡來呢？’他就無話可說。於是王對侍從說：‘把他的手和腳都綁起來，丟到外面的黑暗裡，在那裡必要哀哭切齒。’因為被召的人多，選上的人少。”

雖然有人起來追趕你，尋索你的命，我主的性命必得保全在耶和華你的神生命的囊中。至於你仇敵的命，耶和華卻要甩去，像從甩石機甩出去一樣。
