使你的耳朵留心听智慧，使你的心专注聪慧；如果你向悟性呼求，向聪慧扬声，寻求她如同寻求银子，搜寻她如同搜寻宝藏；那么，你就会领悟什么是敬畏耶和华，并且寻得对神的认识；

在他里面隐藏着一切智慧和知识的财宝。

获得智慧多么好，胜过得金子；获得悟性，胜过得精选的银子。

因着信，摩西长大以后，拒绝被称为法老女儿的儿子。他宁愿选择与神的子民同受虐待，也不愿享受暂时的罪中之乐。他把为基督受的责骂看做是比埃及的财宝更大的财富，因为他注目那将来的报偿。

然而，以前对我有益的事，现在因基督的缘故，我已经把这些事看做是损失。不但如此，我甚至把一切都看做是损失，因为我把认识我主基督耶稣看为是至高无上的。我为基督耶稣损失了一切，而且把一切都看做是粪土，为要赢得基督，并且要被认定在他里面——不是拥有那本于律法的自己的义，而是拥有那藉着信基督而来的义，就是来自神、基于信的义；

同样，你们当中任何人，如果不向自己所拥有的一切告别，就不能做我的门徒。

要知道，你的财宝在哪里，你的心也在哪里。

你当买真理、智慧、管教和悟性，不可卖掉它们！

那个人听了这些话就变得很忧愁，因为他极其富有。耶稣看见他变得很忧愁，就说：“有钱财的人进入神的国，是多么困难！

凡是为我名的缘故而舍弃房屋，或兄弟，或姐妹，或父亲，或母亲，或儿女，或田产的人，都将得到百倍，并且继承永恒的生命。

这时候，彼得对耶稣说：“看，我们舍弃一切跟从了你，我们将来究竟会怎么样呢？”

“啊！所有口渴的人哪，你们要来到水边！没有钱的人哪，你们也要来，买东西吃！来吧，买酒和奶，但不用钱，也不用什么代价！

我建议你向我买被火炼过的金子，使你富足；又买白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞耻不露出来；又买眼药抹你的眼睛，使你能看见。

然而正如经上所记：“神为爱他的人所预备的，是眼睛没有见过，耳朵没有听过，人心也没有想过的。”但是神却藉着圣灵向我们启示了，因为圣灵洞察一切，甚至洞察神深奥的事。

耶稣对他说：“如果你想要成为完全的，就当去卖掉你所拥有的，分给穷人，这样你将有财宝在天上；然后你来跟从我。”

所有信了的人都在一起，凡物共有，他们变卖财产和产业，按照各人的需要分给大家。他们同心合意，不但天天恒切地在圣殿聚集，还在各家各户掰饼。他们怀着喜乐和诚恳的心用饭，赞美神，并且得到全体民众的喜爱。主就在那里使得救的人与日俱增。

耶稣对他们讲了另一个比喻说：“天国好比一个人把好种子撒在自己的田里。

撒该就急忙下来，快快乐乐地接待耶稣。大家看见，就抱怨说：“他竟然到一个罪人家里去借宿。”撒该站着对主说：“主啊，请看，我要把我财产的一半分给穷人。我如果勒索过谁的东西，就偿还四倍。”

因为你们已经死了，你们的生命与基督一同藏在神里面。基督是你们的生命，当他显现的时候，你们那时也就和他一同在荣耀里显现。

的确，你们不但同情了那些被囚禁的人，而且当自己所拥有的被夺去时，你们也甘心接受了，因为知道你们在天上有更好的、长存的产业。

于是那一群信徒都同心合意，没有一个人说他所拥有的哪样东西是自己的；相反，他们凡物共有。使徒们大有能力地为主耶稣的复活做见证，并且在他们每个人身上都有极大的恩典。他们当中没有一个缺乏的人，因为凡是拥有田产或房屋的人，都卖掉了那些东西，把所卖得的钱拿来，放在使徒们的脚前，按照各人的需要分给每个人。

愚昧人既然没有心智，为什么手中还拿着银钱要买智慧呢？

实际上，凡是先前被记载的，都是为了教导我们而写的，好让我们藉着忍耐和经上的安慰，怀有盼望。

耶稣对他们说：“我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的人，绝不饥饿；信我的人，永不干渴。

你们要让基督的话语丰丰富富地住在你们里面，要用一切的智慧彼此教导、劝诫，怀着感恩的心，以诗篇、圣诗、属灵的诗歌来歌颂神。

孤僻离群的，只求自己的愿望；他抗拒一切真知。
