耶穌說：「你為什麼問我做什麼善事？只有上帝是善的，你要得永生，就必須遵守祂的誡命。」

耶稣对他说：“你为什么以善事问我呢？只有一位是善的。你若要进入永生，就当遵守诫命。”

“ Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied.“ There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

So He said to him,“ Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

And he said unto him, Why askest thou me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.

“ Why do you ask Me about what is good?” He said to him.“ There is only One who is good. If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good?[ there is] none good but one,[ that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

He said to him,“ Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

He said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

你們要遵守我的典章和律例。遵行的人必存活。我是耶和華。

我們已經認識並且相信了上帝對我們的愛。上帝就是愛，住在愛中的，就是住在上帝裡面，上帝也住在他裡面。

「耶和華聖潔無比，獨一無二，沒有磐石像我們的上帝。

關於律法的義，摩西寫道：「人若遵行律法的誡命，就必活著。」

耶穌反問他：「律法怎麼說？你怎麼理解？」律法教師答道：「『你要全心、全情、全力、全意愛主——你的上帝』，又要『愛鄰如己』。」耶穌說：「你答得對，照著去做就有永生了。」

非常明顯，沒有人能靠遵行律法在上帝面前被稱為義人，因為聖經上說：「義人必靠信心而活。」律法卻不是以信心為本，而是說：「遵行的人必存活。」但基督替我們受了咒詛，從而救贖我們脫離了律法的咒詛，因為聖經上說：「凡掛在木頭上的人都是受咒詛的。」

「『可是，他們的子孫卻背叛我，不恪守我的律例，不謹遵我的典章——遵守的人必活著。他們褻瀆我的安息日。我本想在曠野向他們發烈怒，傾倒我的怒氣，

一切良善的施予和完美的恩賜都是從天上，從眾光之父那裡來的。祂不像轉動的影子變幻無常。

你警告他們，要使他們遵守你的律法，但他們行事狂傲，不聽從你的誡命，干犯你的典章。人若遵行這典章就必存活，但他們背棄你，頑固不化，不肯聽從。

他們要訴說你的厚恩，歌頌你的公義。耶和華有恩典和憐憫，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛。耶和華善待萬民，憐憫祂所造的萬物。

勇士啊，你為何以作惡為榮？上帝的慈愛永遠長存。

向他們頒佈我的律例和典章，若有人遵守，就必活著。我又讓他們遵守我的安息日，作為我與他們之間的記號，好叫他們知道是我耶和華使他們成為聖潔之民。
