曰：『何誡？』曰：『毋殺人、毋姦淫、毋偷盜、毋妄證、

“ Which ones?” he inquired. Jesus replied,“‘ You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony,

“ Which ones?” he asked him. Jesus answered: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness;

Then he* said to Him,“ Which ones?” And Jesus said,“ You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not give false testimony;

He said to Him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder,’‘ You shall not commit adultery,’‘ You shall not steal,’‘ You shall not bear false witness,’

He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

“ Which ones?” he asked Him. Jesus answered: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness;

「『要遵照你的上帝耶和華的吩咐孝敬父母，以便在你的上帝耶和華要賜給你的土地上享長壽，蒙祝福。「『不可殺人。「『不可通姦。「『不可偷盜。「『不可作偽證陷害人。「『不可貪戀別人的妻子，不可貪圖別人的房屋、田地、僕婢、牛驢或其他任何物品。』

凡以遵行律法為本的人都在咒詛之下，因為聖經上說：「凡不遵行律法書上一切命令的人必受咒詛。」

人只要觸犯律法中的一條，就等於違犯了全部，因為那位說「不可通姦」的，也說過「不可殺人」。如果你沒有犯通姦罪，卻殺了人，你仍違犯了律法。

你知道『不可殺人，不可通姦，不可偷盜，不可作偽證，不可欺詐，要孝敬父母』這些誡命。」

「要孝敬父母，以便在你的上帝耶和華賜給你的土地上享長壽。「不可殺人。「不可通姦。「不可偷盜。「不可作偽證陷害人。「不可貪戀別人的房屋，不可貪戀別人的妻子、僕婢、牛驢或其他任何物品。」

凡事都不可虧欠人，但在彼此相愛方面要常常覺得做得不夠。一個人愛別人，就成全了律法。因為「不可通姦、不可殺人、不可偷竊、不可貪婪」以及其他誡命，都可以總結成一句話——「愛鄰如己」。人若有愛心，就不會作惡害人，所以愛成全了律法。

「你們聽過吩咐古人的話，『不可殺人，殺人的要受審判。』但我告訴你們，凡無緣無故向弟兄發怒的，要受審判；凡罵弟兄是白癡的，要受公會的審判；凡罵弟兄是笨蛋的，難逃地獄的火。「所以，你在祭壇前獻祭的時候，要是想起有弟兄和你有過節，就該把祭物留在祭壇前，先去跟他和好，然後再來獻祭。「趁著你和告你的人還在去法庭的路上，你要趕緊與對方和解。不然，他會把你交給審判官，審判官會把你交給差役關進監牢。我實在告訴你，要是有一分錢沒有還清，你絕不能從那裡出來。「你們聽過這樣的話，『不可通姦。』但我告訴你們，凡看見婦女就動淫念的，他在心裡已經犯了通姦罪。

你知道『不可通姦，不可殺人，不可偷盜，不可作偽證，要孝敬父母』這些誡命」。
