He said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am Yahweh.

We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

There is no one as holy as Yahweh, for there is no one besides you, nor is there any rock like our God.

For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law,“ The one who does them will live by them.”

He said to him,“ What is written in the law? How do you read it?”He answered,“ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”He said to him,“ You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”

Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for,“ The righteous will live by faith.”The law is not of faith, but,“ The man who does them will live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”

“‘“ But the children rebelled against me. They didn’t walk in my statutes, and didn’t keep my ordinances to do them, which if a man does, he shall live in them. They profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

and testified against them, that you might bring them again to your law. Yet they were arrogant, and didn’t listen to your commandments, but sinned against your ordinances( which if a man does, he shall live in them), turned their backs, stiffened their neck, and would not hear.

They will utter the memory of your great goodness, and will sing of your righteousness.Yahweh is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness.Yahweh is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works.

Why do you boast of mischief, mighty man? God’s loving kindness endures continually.

I gave them my statutes, and showed them my ordinances, which if a man does, he will live in them.Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies them.
