并且说：‘因此，人要离开父母，与妻子连合，二人成为一体。’这经你们没有念过吗？

並且說：『因此，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。』這經你們沒有念過嗎？

又說：「為這緣故、人必離開父親和母親，同他的妻子膠結，兩個人就成為一體」麼？

並且說：『為這緣故，人將離開父母，與妻子結合，兩個人就成為一體。』

曰、緣此人必離父母、膠漆其妻、成為一體、此經爾未讀乎、

故曰、人離父母、膠漆其妻、成為一體、此經汝豈未讀乎、

且云人離父母、與妻聯合、二人成為一體、此豈爾未讀乎、

且謂「因此人將離其父母、好合其妻、二人成為一體。」

and said,‘ For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

耶和華上帝使那人沉睡，然後從他身上取出一根肋骨，再把肉合起來。耶和華上帝用那根肋骨造成一個女人，帶到那人跟前。那人說：「這才是我的同類，我骨中的骨，肉中的肉，要稱她為女人，因為她是從男人身上取出來的。」因此，人要離開父母，與妻子結合，二人成為一體。

「因此，人要離開父母，與妻子結合，二人成為一體。」

你們不知道與妓女苟合，就是和她成為一體嗎？因為主說：「二人要成為一體」。

耶和華曾告訴以色列人不可跟這些外族人通婚，免得受引誘去隨從他們的神明，所羅門卻迷戀這些女子。

耶穌說：「摩西因為你們心硬，才給你們寫了這條誡命。太初創造時，『上帝造了男人和女人。』『因此，人要離開父母，與妻子結合，二人成為一體。』這樣，夫妻不再是兩個人，而是一體了。因此，上帝配合的，人不可分開。」

但你們這些信靠你們的上帝耶和華的人至今還活著。

妻子無權支配自己的身體，丈夫才有權；丈夫也無權支配自己的身體，妻子才有權。

我的兄弟約拿單啊，我為你悲傷，你對我情深義重，你對我的愛勝過女人的戀情。
