另外，你們哀哭悲歎，眼淚甚至淹沒了耶和華的祭壇，因為耶和華不再理會你們的供物，不再悅納你們所獻的。你們還問為什麼。因為耶和華在你和你的髮妻中間作證，她是你的配偶，是你盟約的妻子，你卻對她不忠。

耶和華說：「你們要站在路口觀望，尋訪古道，找到正路並行在其上，便會得到心靈的安寧。」但你們卻說：「我們拒絕這樣做。」

因此，人要離開父母，與妻子結合，二人成為一體。

挪亞與妻子、兒子們和兒媳們都進了方舟，躲避洪水。

耶穌回答說：「你就這樣做吧！我們理當這樣遵行上帝一切的要求。」於是約翰答應了。

不可像你們祖先在米利巴，在曠野的瑪撒那樣心裡頑固。

心如鐵石，不遵從律法，也不遵從萬軍之耶和華藉著祂的靈指示從前的先知所說的話。因此，萬軍之耶和華非常憤怒。

耶穌說：「摩西因為你們心硬，才給你們寫了這條誡命。

鬼就哀求耶穌：「如果你要趕我們出去，就讓我們進入豬群吧！」

我這番話是准許你們結婚，並不是命令你們結婚。
