弟兄们，想一想你们所蒙的召唤：按人的标准，你们当中有智慧的不多，有权势的不多，出身高贵的也不多。

耶稣愤怒地环视他们，又为他们心里刚硬而忧伤，就对那个人说：“伸出手来！”他一伸出来，手就复原了。

耶稣看见他变得很忧愁，就说：“有钱财的人进入神的国，是多么困难！

耶稣对他的门徒们说：“我确实地告诉你们：富有的人进入天国会很困难。我再告诉你们：骆驼穿过针眼，比富有的人进入神的国更容易呢！”门徒们听了这话，极其惊讶，就说：“究竟谁能得救呢？”耶稣注视着他们，说：“在人，这是不可能的；但是在神，凡事都可能。”

耶稣回答：“我确确实实地告诉你：一个人如果不是由水和圣灵所生的，就不能进入神的国。

说：“我确实地告诉你们：你们如果不回转，变得像小孩子一样，绝不能进入天国。

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听！神难道不是拣选了世上的那些贫穷人，使他们在信仰上富有，并且做他国度的继承人吗？这国度是他应许给爱他之人的。

你们这些淫乱的人哪！难道你们不知道，与世界为友，就是与神为敌吗？所以，如果有人想要和世界做朋友，他就成了神的仇敌！

而这样，你们就丰丰富富地得到供应，进入我们的主、救主耶稣基督永恒的国度。

我确实地告诉你们：无论谁不像小孩子一样接受神的国，就绝不能进去。”

可是耶稣环视周围，要知道是谁做了这事。
