“ But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows.

“ But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

問耶穌曰、主、爾以國復以色列、即此時乎、耶穌曰、時與日、乃父以己權所定、非爾可知也、

故當儆醒、以爾不知其時日也、○

然其日其時、人不知、天使與子亦不知、惟父知之、人子之臨、有如挪亞之日、洪水之先、其人飲食嫁娶、迨挪亞入方舟日、人莫之知、及洪水至、盡沒之、人子之臨亦然、時、二人在田、取一舍一、二女旋磨、取一舍一、故當儆醒、蓋不知爾主何日至也、

兄弟乎、言及時期、無庸書以示爾、蓋爾詳知主之日至、如夜間之盜、

且見人子以大權大榮、乘雲而來、必遣諸使、集厥選民於四方、自地之極、至天之涯、○

中夜有呼曰、新娶者至矣、爾出迎之、

久之、主歸、與之會計、

然主日將至、如盜然、是日諸天訇然而逝、體質俱為烈火所化、地與其間之造作盡爇焉、

故宜憶所受所聞如何、且守之而改悔、倘不儆醒、我將至如盜然、爾不知我何時而至也、

耶穌基督之啟示、乃上帝所賜以示其諸僕、即必速成之事也、且遣厥使、曉諭其僕約翰、
