耶穌對他們說：『上帝國的奧祕是給予你們的；至於外人呢、一切都用比喻；

耶穌對他們說：「神國的奧祕已經賜給你們了，但是對外人，一切都是用比喻的。

耶穌曰、上帝國之奧、與爾識之、惟於外人、則以譬言之、

耶穌曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、若彼外人、則悉以喻訓之、

耶穌曰：『天主國之精義妙理、惟傳授於爾等。於外人則一以譬喻出之。

He told them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables

He told them,“ The secret of God’s kingdom has been given to you. But to outsiders everything is told using stories.

And he said to them,“ To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables,

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders,

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And He was saying to them,“ To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but for those who are outside, everything comes in parables,

And He said to them,“ To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,

And he said unto them, Unto you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables:

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all[ these] things are done in parables:

He said to them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,

He said to them,“ To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,

耶穌又曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此事、於智者達者則隱之、於赤子則顯之、

爾於外人、當以智而行、光陰是惜、

蓋會外者與我何涉而擬之、爾之所擬、非會內者乎、會外者上帝擬之、爾中之惡者、爾其擯之、

又當有善證於外人、免遭誹謗、及魔之機檻、

曰上帝國之奧、賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、俾其視而不明、聽而不悟、

我所愛之兄弟乎、毋迷誤、凡美善之施、純全之賚、皆由於上、自光明之父而降、彼無變易、無移影、且循己旨、以真道生我儕、俾於其所造者、猶初實之果焉、○

俾正爾行以向外人、致無匱乏、○

蓋我儕素亦無知、悖逆、迷惑、役於情慾佚樂、以狠毒媢嫉度生、見惡於人、亦彼此相惡、然我救者上帝慈惠仁愛顯著時、則救我儕、非因我行義之功、乃依其矜恤、以重生之盥濯、與聖神之復新、即上帝由我救者耶穌基督厚注我儕者、俾得以其恩而見義、且依永生之望、成為嗣子、

示我以厥旨之奧、循其善意、乃於彼中所定、

但上帝富有矜恤、以浩大之愛愛我、於我儕因過愆而死時、偕基督而甦我、爾之得救乃由恩耳、且於基督耶穌、使我儕與之同起、亦同坐於天、致緣彼所施我儕之慈惠、彰其厚恩於後世焉、蓋爾以恩得救、由信非由己、乃上帝所賜也、非由乎行、免人自矜、蓋我儕乃上帝之工、受造於基督耶穌中、致行善行、乃上帝所預定、使我儕行之者也、○

曰、天國之奧、予爾知之、不予他人也、蓋有者將予之使有餘、無者並其所有、亦將奪之、故我以喻語之、因其視而不見、聽而不聞、亦不悟也、

是時也、耶穌感於聖神而喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此事於智者達者則隱之、於赤子則顯之、父乎、然也、此乃爾所悅者也、萬有由父賜我、父之外無識子者、子及子所欲示者之外、無識父者、乃顧其徒、潛語之曰、見爾所見者、其目福矣、我語汝、昔先知君王、多欲見爾所見、而不之見、聞爾所聞、而不之聞、○

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿福矣、蓋非有血氣者示爾、乃我在天之父也、

誰使爾自異乎、爾何有而非受之乎、既受之、何自誇如未受乎、

惟爾目福矣、以其見也、爾耳福矣、以其聞也、

蓋命光由暗而照之上帝、已照我心、俾知上帝榮之光、即顯於耶穌基督之面者也、○
