他使狂風止息，海浪就平靜無聲。

你平息了海洋的洪濤和澎湃的巨浪，以及萬民的喧嘩。

你管轄海洋的狂濤，波浪翻騰的時候，你使它們平息。

耶和華坐在洪水之上，耶和華坐著為王直到永遠。

他為海洋定出界限，海水不能越過他的命令，他又劃定大地的根基；

‘你們連我都不懼怕嗎？在我面前你們也不戰兢嗎？’這是耶和華的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永遠的界限，海就不能越過；波浪翻騰，卻不能漫過；怒濤澎湃，仍無法逾越。

說：‘你只可到這裡，不可越過，你狂傲的波浪要在這裡止住。’

火和冰雹，雪和雲霧，執行他命令的狂風，

耶和華啊！大水揚起了，大水揚起了聲音，大水揚起了澎湃的波浪。耶和華在高處大有能力，勝過大水的響聲，勝過海中的巨浪。

因你的斥責，水就退去；因你的雷聲，水就奔逃。眾水流經群山，向下流往眾谷，流到你為它們指定的地方。你定了界限，使眾水不能越過；它們不再轉回掩蓋大地。

主必不會永遠丟棄人。

他一斥責海，海就乾了；他使一切江河枯乾。巴珊和迦密的樹林枯槁，黎巴嫩的花卉凋殘。

以色列人下到海中走乾地，水在他們的左右作了牆垣。

耶穌站在她旁邊，斥責那熱病，熱就退了；她立刻起身服事他們。

耶穌看見群眾圍攏了來，就斥責那污鬼說：“聾啞的鬼，我吩咐你從他身上出來，不要再進去。”

你要把你的杖舉起來，向海伸手，把海分開，叫以色列人下到海中走乾地。
