故日出暴之、無根而槁、

日头出来一晒，因为没有根，就枯干了；

太阳出来一晒，因为没有根就枯干了。

日出曝之、草枯花謝、其美亡矣、富者必衰亦如是、

彼不復饑渴、日不得而曝、火不得而爇、

爾學基督、根既深矣、經營搆造、篤信勉行、感厥厚恩、

昔兄弟憾予、使予守園、不顧己身、遂暴於日、容色微紫、爾曹婢女勿藐視予。

譬彼林木、植於溪旁、隨時結果、其葉青蒼、百事允臧。維彼惡者、猶之秕糠、為風飄揚。

爾曹相愛、肆筵設席、彼必與焉、是謀哺啜、玷爾潔清、終無所懼、彼偽師如密雲不雨、為風飄搖、如秋末之樹、果落莖枯、根株盡拔、

強暴之人、若風撼墻、窮民遭難、爾扞衛之、颶風狂飆、爾扶翼之、烈日炎熇、爾庇蔭之、

使基督因爾信而居爾心、

詭詐百出、自棄者為所惑、蓋彼不願受真理致得救、

日出時、上帝使風東來、其氣炎熇日暴約拿之首、使之喪魂求死、曰、寧死不生、

凡彼卉木、植於我上帝耶和華之場帷、枝葉葱蘢兮。歷年雖久、結實依然、青青向榮兮、我上帝耶和華至義、罔不秉公、以此可徵兮。

耶和華曰、人背逆予、求人助己、惟人力是恃、禍必不遠。譬彼杜松、生於曠野、其地斥鹵、其壤燥烈、人蹤罕至、不沾膏澤。以我為恃者、望我拯救、綏祉繁多、譬彼林木、植於溪旁、根延河畔、雖經炎熱、雖歷亢陽、不受其害、枝葉青蒼、結果不息。
