惟毋遽加剪滅兮。恐吾民因無敵而荒怠。願鼎力以驅逐之兮。使其不復為吾族之害。

恶人嘴中的过错是自己的网罗；但义人必脱离患难。

但起假誓，不践前言，杀害，偷盗，奸淫，行强暴，杀人流血，接连不断。

愚昧人的口自取败坏；他的嘴是他生命的网罗。

他满口是咒骂、诡诈、欺压，舌底是毒害、奸恶。

恶人在骄横中把困苦人追得火急；愿他们陷在自己所设的计谋里。

我又告诉你们，凡人所说的闲话，当审判的日子，必要句句供出来；因为要凭你的话定你为义，也要凭你的话定你有罪。”

诡诈的舌头啊，要给你什么呢？要拿什么加给你呢？就是勇士的利箭和罗腾木的炭火。

正直人的义必拯救自己；奸诈人必陷在自己的罪孽中。

但他们越发极力地说：“他煽惑百姓，在犹太遍地传道，从加利利起，直到这里了。”

主啊，愿你将我们邻邦所羞辱你的羞辱加七倍归到他们身上。

当那日，你必不因你一切得罪我的事自觉羞愧；因为那时我必从你中间除掉矜夸高傲之辈，你也不再于我的圣山狂傲。

他爱咒骂，咒骂就临到他；他不喜爱福乐，福乐就与他远离！他拿咒骂当衣服穿上；这咒骂就如水进他里面，像油入他的骨头。

至于那些昂首围困我的人，愿他们嘴唇的奸恶陷害自己！愿火炭落在他们身上！愿他们被丢在火中，抛在深坑里，不能再起来。

你就被口中的话语缠住，被嘴里的言语捉住。

众人都回答说：“他的血归到我们和我们的子孙身上。”

但神要射他们；他们忽然被箭射伤。他们必然绊跌，被自己的舌头所害；凡看见他们的必都摇头。
